NG Nano-Sciences™

Introduction

NexGen-Sciences is one the leading Nano-Science Companies utilizing a proprietary NG Nano-Science™ technology that rapidly delivers nano-size functional actives including Vitamin A, D, E, Coenzyme Q10, cannabinoids, delta8 and other functional molecules into the human body.

Nano-Science

The NG Nano-Science™ technology was developed to stimulate a natural formation of self-assemble micelles (<100nm) that enhances the water solubility of fat-soluble compounds for rapid absorption into the human body. These newly formed water-soluble actives (powder or liquid forms) are more bioavailable than its native state and are natural absorbed into the body at higher rates compared to the fat-soluble active itself.  Additionally, once in the micelle form, the water-soluble cannabinoids are more stable allowing for a longer shelf-life in finished products.  The NG Nano-Science™ technology greatly increase both the absorption rate and rapid onset of the active for overall health.

NexGen’s Self-Assembled (Multilayered) Micelle

The technology uses a proprietary amphiphilic vegetable grade polymer blended together with other GRAS approved compounds to form a non-ionic surfactant that reduces the interfacial tension between two immiscible liquids (e.g. oil and water) and allows spontaneous formation of self-assembly micelles. Additionally, the multilayered surfactant used in formation the micelles has been optimized for the correct balance between the hydrophilic-lipophilic-balance or HLB.  We have determine the optimum threshold concentration required for the formation of micelle.  This threshold is called the “critical micelle concentration” or CMC and is one of the most important physiochemical steps for the self-assembly formation of micelles. When self-interactions of both surfactants and solvent molecules cannot be compensated by the mutual interactions, the surfactant molecules form a regular patter of self-assembly polymer micelles that spontaneously form nano-sized aggregates. In simpler terms, instead of crowding at the interface, the solubilizer hide their tails in the micellar interior creating an (oily) environment by driving the fat soluble active into the core of the micelle while their hydrophobic head remaining out in the aqueous medium.  To summarize, the NG Nano-Science technology uses a multi-layer non-ionic solubilizer, at the optimum CMC, to spontaneous form a self-assembly polymer micelle under 100nm, spherical shape and are thermodynamic stable.
